At Coyote Kitchen, we really know what is in our food and do everything we can to meet your needs. We can accommodate gluten free, vegan, and dairy free diets as well as most other special diets and food allergies. We can modify most menu items to fit any dietary needs.
ALWAYS let your server of any food allergies that you have so that they can alert the kitchen. Talk with your server about your needs and they will help you find a meal that is satisfying and flavorful.
GLUTEN FREE DIETS
We are doing our best to cater to our growing numbers of gluten free customers. Last year we adapted many of our recipes to open them up to the gluten free population. We have a dedicated gluten-free fryer and always cook items for our gluten free customers in a seperate sautee pan. We are currently looking for a gluten free bread and hamburger bun so that our GF customers can enjoy our melts and sandwiches. We are experimenting with gluten free chipotle seasonings. In the future we plan to have a gluten free sub menu so customers can order gluten free items rather than modifying our current items. We recommend the GF modified Taos Boat and the Flour-less Chocolate torte for dessert.
The following items do CONTAIN GLUTEN: Rosemary bread, corn bread, Ezekiel bread, Potato Kaiser buns, breading for fried meats, flour tortillas, chipotle cream cheese, cranberry chipotle salsa, chipotle ranch, Worcestershire sauce (used on burgers), Vegan Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake
Promoting a plant based diet is very important to us, and we are working to provide more options for our vegan customers. Our above stated gluten free fryer is also a meat free fryer, and no meat ever touches our flat top where veggies are cooked. Any menu item can be made vegan. Tofu or Tempeh may be substituted into any meat entree. You can leave off the cheese and YES you can substitute more veggies/beans/protein! Try our house made sweet red vegan nayo as a dipping sauce for our fries, or substitute it into a burrito or boat to replace cream cheese. We are happy to work with you and help you find a delicious plant based meal to enjoy. We are currently experimenting with some vegan burger options and do have future plans to create a vegan sub menu. Our favorite vegan items are the Gabriella Burrito, Nachos Deluxe with blackened tempeh (no cheese, maybe add mushrooms or pineapple instead), the Pineapple Tempeh Melt sans cheese, and of course the Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake.
Items containing dairy: Jack Cheese, Feta Cheese, Sour Cream, Chipotle Cream Cheese, Jalapeno Cream Cheese, Chipotle Ranch, Roasted Red Pepper Vinaigrette, Rosemary Butter, Chocolate Torte (no milk, but contains eggs)
